Join us for an intimate and hands-on Cold Process Natural Soap Making Workshop, where you'll learn the art of crafting amazing, traditional soaps from scratch. And the best part? This workshop is limited to just 1 or a maximum of 2 people, so you'll get personalised attention and guidance every step of the way!

In this fun and informative workshop, you'll dive into the world of cold process soap making, using only natural ingredients and no palm oil. You'll learn the basics of working with lye (don't worry, we'll provide the safety gear and teach you how to use it safely!), and how to blend essential oils and botanicals to create unique and nourishing soap recipes.

Our expert instructor will walk you through the entire process, from mixing and blending to pouring, curing and cutting your very own soap creations. You'll take home your freshly made soaps, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue making your own natural soaps at home. Please understand soaps have to cure before they can be used.

* Please wear protective clothing, including long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes
* We'll provide safety gear, including goggles, mask and gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer
* This workshop is not suitable for children or pregnant women due to the use of lye.

Any previous experience necessary?

None, this class is perfect for beginners and more experienced crafters alike and will be customised depending on your journey!

What do you need to bring?

Please be aware some colourants may stain when in raw form, please choose your clothes etc. accordingly. You may wish to bring an apron to wear and must wear enclosed shoes. Bring a large box (min 12 x 12 x 10 with a bath towels to take home your creations.

Important information:

Please ensure that we are aware of any allergies you may have when booking. This will ensure that wherever possible, substitutions can be made. Please discuss any severe allergies, even if they do not seem relevant.

All participants will need to wear gloves and masks and goggles throughout making section which we will provide, as the ingredients used are in powder form and are not comfortable if breathed in close proximity. 

It is advised that you cover any cuts, grazes etc. with plasters or other coverings.

Children

Must be a minimum of 16 years old to participate in this class due to working with lye and for insurance reasons.
